The Intro to Camp program is designed specifically for potty-trained 5-year-olds, offering them a gentle and fun introduction to the beloved Nature Day Camp experience at GTCD. This two-week, half-day program focuses on building confidence in young campers-to-be as they explore the wonders of nature in a supportive and engaging environment.
Through age-appropriate activities, children will discover the joy of outdoor exploration while developing essential social skills and a connection to the natural world. From nature walks to simple outdoor crafts and games, each day is carefully structured to foster curiosity, independence, and teamwork. By the end of the program, children will feel empowered and excited to continue their journey into the great outdoors!
Perfect for young adventurers, the Intro to Camp program ensures a fun, safe, and memorable experience while preparing them for the exciting activities and challenges of the full-day Nature Day Camp experience.
Two weeks | Half days: 9:00am-12:00pm
June 30th-July 2nd & July 7th-11th | $400/child
It is highly recommended that children attend both weeks of this program. Dual week registration will be prioritized. A waitlist will be created when program is full.
