Adam Brown is a conservationist and agrarian with a B.S. in Earth Science and minors in Biology and Environmental Studies. With over 12 years of hands-on experience in regenerative farming in Washington state and Northern Michigan, he is deeply committed to sustainable food production and land stewardship, focusing on improving agricultural practices while nurturing the ecosystems that support them.
Adam's passion for soil science, microbiology, and plant physiology drives his dedication to cultivating healthy, resilient agricultural landscapes. In 2011, after enrolling in a transformative farm training program, Adam embarked on a career in organic farming. He held several farm management positions in Washington state and Northern Michigan before he and his wife successfully ran Undertoe Farm, a diversified organic vegetable operation near Elk Rapids, MI, for nine seasons.
Now, Adam looks forward to using his extensive experience in regenerative agriculture to help beginning farmers gain the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. He is passionate about passing on the knowledge and wisdom he gained from his own farm training and mentor to students at the Great Lakes Incubator Farm.
