"Native Plants and Your Landscape!" Webinar

  • Online Webinar - Zoom (map)

Description: Join GTCD and Cheryl Gross, Advanced Master Gardener & President of Plant It Wild, during this online webinar to learn more about the importance of native plants in the landscape and design concepts to add them to any yard.

Addressing the significant decline in insect and bird populations, native plant communities and ecosystems can help restore the balance and diversity currently missing in our yards. The more we understand the food web connection, the better we can contribute with positive changes where we live. Native plants may be viewed by some as messy, but that is not necessary as native plants can be managed in intentional ways to be both beautiful and beneficial. Learn about native plant garden designs that reduce maintenance and create habitat while being neighborhood friendly.
