Description: Help District staff with Boardman River streambank restoration by planting native tree and shrub seedlings in the Brown Bridge bottomlands! This is a great opportunity to learn about the parkland's recent restoration efforts and upcoming recreational improvements. Kids are welcome. A light snack and water will be provided. Please bring your own shovel (a few extras will be available), and wear suitable footwear and gloves.
When: Friday, April 22nd, 10:00am - 2:00pm
Where: Brown Bridge Quiet Area. Meet at the Brown Bridge Canoe Landing Parking Area. The planting site is about a 10 minute hike down the trail from the parking area.
