The Most Unwanted Aquatic Invasive Species: Identifying, Decontaminating, and Reporting

Description: Emily Cook, AIS Coordinator at the Benzie Conservation District and manager of the Aquatic Invasive Species Pathways Program, will be presenting on how to protect our special waters from unwanted aquatic hitchhikers. She will discuss how to identify high-priority species, the proper methods of decontamination, the biggest challenges (and wins!) of on-the-ground boat washing, and how to take action as an individual.
