Description: Join GTCD naturalists for a guided educational hike in identifying wild invasive species along the Commons Natural Area trail. Joined by ISN Habitat Manager, Murielle Garbarino, to help answer questions about Northwest MI’s invasive pests, we'll discover the hills, streams, meadows, and wetlands of this 140-acre park. We welcome hikers and naturalists of all experience levels!
Please come prepared for all weather types. We welcome outdoor adventures in rain or shine! If the weather or trails are unsafe you will be notified of a cancellation at GTCD's discretion.
There are *not* public restrooms available at the trailhead.
Some fun or helpful things to bring may include: sunscreen, bug spray, a walking stick, a hand lens or binoculars, a camera, and your favorite field guide or naturalist app!
Please contact Lea Dyga with any questions!
