Description: Join our District Forester Ellie Johnson over Zoom for a short presentation about tree seedling selection and care followed by plenty of times for questions!

Please consider the following prompt questions so we can best assist you in seedling selection for your property!

• Which tree species are successfully growing now, or have grown on your property in the past?

• Consider the environment - features and characteristics of the space you intend to plant your seedlings in. How such sunlight does the area get? How moist is the soil? Which species of wildlife frequent the area?

• What are your goals for planting trees? Support wildlife habitat? Privacy? Carbon sequestration?
