Today we learned why some birds move to warmer areas during winter! We played a fun migration activity where we acted like birds and migrated south for winter! We then read a neat story that taught us even more about why birds fly south for winter. Afterwards, we made a birds nest craft and made bird food for the birds who stayed with us for winter! We then decorated some neat binoculars and headed outside to look for any birds! We saw many chickadees, blue jays, and even and cardinal! Some of us even went out to look at the pond and found lots of ducks!
Next week we will be learning about animals who are active all winter long! Like us!!
See you next week!
