Hello Grown Ups!
Today, the Rangers went on a Water Quality Challenge! We adventured down to Jack’s Creek and tested the quality of the water by catching the macro invertebrates (bugs that have no backbone and can been seen without a microscope or magnifying glass) who live in the Creek. We also floated our home-made rafts down the river and made coffee filter fish!
The Wonders of Wetlands is tomorrow’s theme! The River Rangers in training will learn all about what a wetland is and the types of plants and animals that live in them. We will explore the Lower Sabin Pond Trail Wetlands using our senses of sight, hearing, touching, and smelling!
See you in the morning!
