Springtime Egg Hunt

This isn’t your average egg hunt… Join the Grand Traverse Conservation District for a whole new spin on a springtime favorite – the egg hunt! Instead of sending kids running through an empty field, gobbling up all the eggs and candy they can find as fast as they can, our Springtime Egg Hunt will be just that – a hunt of grand proportions! Kids (and their parents) will be sent out on a mission to find five eggs, each of a different color, that correspond to a Michigan critter that actually lays eggs. Once they find an egg of a certain color, they’ll put it in their basket, mark it off on their scorecard, and move on to find the next color egg. Once all five colored eggs have been found, they will return to the starting point to exchange their eggs and scorecard for candy and be entered in a chance to win great prizes.

The grand prize is a free one night stay at the Great Wolf Lodge! Other great prizes will also be available, including a free week-long summer camp at the Conservation District.

The Springtime Egg Hunt will take place on the beautiful Kids Creek Park (situated between Kohls and the Great Wolf Lodge). There will be two time slots available and kids will be grouped by age to different areas of the park.
