Rebecca Koteskey

Northern Michigan is where Rebecca has always called home and wouldn’t have it any other way. She is originally from the small town of Boyne City, but has lived in Traverse City since 2001.

Rebecca graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Freshwater Science and Sustainability. She also received an ASA in Freshwater Studies from Northwest Michigan College. Rebecca has worked as a survey intern for MDNR in Gaylord, MI, as well as an Interpreter for MDNR at the Boardman River Weir in Traverse City, MI. Over the last two years, she has worked seasonally for the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network (ISN) as a Crew Member, Data Technician, and Survey Technician. Rebecca is excited to continue her career with ISN as the Communications Specialist.

When Rebecca isn’t working you can find her spending time with her boyfriend, pup Vega, family, and friends. Some of her favorite hobbies include hiking, kayaking, camping, boating, and relaxing on the beach.
