Ed first came to the Traverse City area with his wife in the 1970s. They bought property on a small lake in Grand Traverse county and built a small cabin for summer vacations and week ends. Since then, they have remodeled and moved here permanently in 1999.
Retired now, after being a electrical contractor for 40 years, Ed is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and bird watching. Taking on the presidency of Grand Traverse Audubon Club has given Ed an even greater appreciation of preserving the environment here.
Ed has been married for 47 years and has a adult son and daughter, also two granddaughters. His goals on this board are to help GTCD in any way he can.
