August 14th – Legs by the Million

Insect Investigators Wednesday Blog 1 Insect Investigators Wednesday Blog 2

Hello Grown-Ups!

Today was all about legs! Bugs with lots of  legs, that is! We learned about what make spiders so cool (ask your camper why spiders don’t stick to their own webs). Then we took a hike on the Fox Den trail and found tons of live spiders on the trail! We ended the day with some fun games that helped us learn more about the lives of spiders and their webs.

Tomorrow we are learning about the ways us humans benefit from bugs and insects. There are lots of crawling, flying, and swimming bugs out there that help us in our every-day lives! Campers should come ready for more fun, adventure, and learning!

See you in the morning!
