The Grand Traverse Conservation District is a partner in and fiduciary agent of the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network (ISN). Its mission is Protecting, enhancing, and promoting Northwest Michigan’s natural communities through terrestrial invasive plant management and outreach. ISN was formed from the joining of the Grand Traverse Regional Invasive Species Network and the Northwest Michigan CWMA in 2012. To learn more, visit HabitatMatters.org.
The Conservation District is also a partner for the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network’s program “Go Beyond Beauty,” which recognizes nursery and landscape businesses in our region that commit not to sell or plant high-threat invasive ornamental plants.
