August 28th – Fish are Friends (and food)!

Hey campers!

Today we learned all about fish! We took a look at our fish wall and talked about what makes fish different from other animals – like us! We then took a hike down to Jack’s Creek and the 900 ft long boardwalk, looking for some signs of wildlife! On our way back, we walked through a Snake Grass Kingdom, which was pretty cool! When we got back from our hike, we made some really neat fish windsocks and then played a quick game that helped us understand the difficulties of being a fish!

Tomorrow is our last day of camp. We will be learning the differences between wild and tame animals! We will also be finding the wild side in all of us!

See you tomorrow!
