We spent the entire program outside today! We explored frogs through language, song, craft, and games. We warmed up from the cold by running around as frogs and flies. After we were warmed up we went on a wood frog hunt turning logs, rocks, and leaf matter to see what we could find. Our parents helped promote a sense of exploration and curiosity and we were able to find pill bugs, worms, and a centipede. It was pretty chilly for frogs but we enjoyed exploring with our grown-ups.
Next week we will be learning about Turtles and, yes we will get to see some live animals. Join us for a story, a creative craft, and a hike. See you next week!
Thanks for coming friends.
