April 30th-Busy Bees

Hi Grown-ups!

This week we explored bees, we got to make bee puppets and our very own bee hives. Our favorite part was playing in the sand with all of the bugs (plastic). It was windy and rainy outside with a chance of thunderstorms so we stayed inside and built our own hive made of sheets. We hope to be outside for a long time next week!

Our program is titled Fancy Fliers for next week. Some of our fliers such as dragonflies and damselflies lay their eggs underwater. What do you think we will find if we look in the creek? Bring your boots/waders or what have you, we will be exploring Jack’s Creek and some wetland areas for bugs!

See you next Tuesday,

Emily and Barb
