February 18th – Snoozing Through Winter

Hi all!

Today we talked about all the different types of animals that sleep, or hibernate, through winter! This included talking about bears, raccoons, snakes, turtles, and even groundhogs! We made really neat groundhog and bear crafts. We were very fortunate to have the sun come out and visit us today, so we spent a lot of time outside. We built bear caves and went on a bear hunt! Even though we didn’t see any hibernating bears, we still had fun!

Next week, we will be getting a SENSE of nature! That means we’ll be using our five special senses to look at nature! We will be going outside, so make sure you dress for the weather!

Until next week!
