Originally from southeast Texas, Victoria’s childhood was lived out in three states, Texas, Utah, and Michigan. It was growing up in the National Parks of the American west that fostered her love of the natural world, and all things outside. Victoria obtained a degree from Northwestern Michigan College focusing on natural education, and continues to pursue that path. She finds nothing more rewarding than sharing her passion for the natural world by getting kids outside to educate and inspire them. Her favorite things to teach about at the Nature Center are rocks and fossils, and macroinvertebrates. In her spare time, she likes to hike with her dog, Evie, backpack, collect fossils, kayak, take pictures, and explore new places.
