Jessica grew up a sixth generation farmer on a large apple farm in west Michigan.

Jessica earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Natural Resource Management from Grand Valley State University, where she was also a member of the rowing team.  Jessica worked for Michigan State University’s Tree Fruit Entomology Department managing research trails. During these trials she has emphasized Integrated Pest Management practices targeting moths using insecticides and pheromones.
