Meet the 2014 Nature Day Camp Staff

Torey Fry

Torey joins the team with a B.S. in Environmental Stewardship from McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas. She is originally from Wichita, Kansas and is relatively new to the beautiful Traverse City area. This will be Toreys’ second summer with the Grand Traverse Conservation District. She is ready to help with their summer programs and is super excited to educate young naturalists! Outside of work, she enjoys being outside with nature, as well as baking and reading.

Tess Kohler

Tess is a Traverse City native currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies at Colgate University in central New York. This is her first summer with the Grand Traverse Conservation District, and she is very excited to work outside with campers having fun and helping them expand their knowledge of the natural world. In her free time Tess enjoys going hiking, rock climbing and camping as well as eating good food and spending time with family and friends.
