October 30th-Jolly Pumpkin

BOO!

I’ll bet we scared you grown-ups! We learned all about pumpkins this week. Ms. Jenifer came and told us a very special story about a GIANT-boy-chasing-pumpkin!  We also got to see Ms. Courtney carve a pumpkin into a spider! EVERYONE got to help her scoop out the guts! It was messy and really fun! Ms. Barb cooked a small pie pumpkin for us and we all got taste it! Some of us liked it and some of us did NOT! We also separated all of the seeds out of the pumpkin so that we could plant them in our garden next year. At the end of the day Ms. Barb had some spooky songs for us that made us laugh. It was one of the BEST Tuesdays!

Next week we will learn all about Oak trees at our “Mighty Oak” program. Acorns will definitely be involved and we plan on going outside even if it’s just for a few minutes. So please dress warmly, it’s been pretty cold and wet lately!
Have a safe Halloween everyone! See you Tuesday morning!
