Jim Teahen became an Associate Director in 1995 and was elected to the Board in 1997. Jim and his wife Roberta have two adult children who raise horses on the 30 acre family farm in Peninsula Township. He is an avid sportsman and is past president of the Grand Traverse Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society. He has been a broker with Coldwell-Banker Schmidt Realtors for over 30 years. Jim has been a strong voice on the Board for wildlife habitat improvement and increasing district services to meet the needs of our growing community.
