December 11th- I’ll Have an EverGREEN Christimas

Hi Grown-Ups!

What a fantastic Tuesday we had! We had special guest Ms. Jenifier come and share 3 wonderful winter stories with us to kick start our last Peeper session. After that we had three fun activity stations where we made holiday decorations using fresh evergreens, pine cones, feathers, and twigs. We examined Holly and White Pines, Juniper, and Red Pines, Cedar, and other various trees. Then we went on a winter wonder hike! The fresh snow made our hike excellent for tracking animals. We spent the day following rabbit, bird, deer, squirrel and human tracks all over the forest. We even tried to make our own tracks hopping like a rabbit or walking around like a bird. We had so much fun playing in the snow that we ran out of time!

We hope you had a fantastic fall season spending Tuesdays with us. Peepers will start again on January 8th at 10 AM. We can wait to see new and familiar faces for our spring series. We have some great ideas and new lessons in store for you that we are really excited about. We hope you have a fantastic holiday with your family!

See you in 2013!
