October 23rd-Funny Bones

Hello Grown-ups!
Yet ANOTHER fantastic Tuesday! This week we learned all about bones at the “Funny Bones” program. We learned about different bones we have, matched animal skeletons with the right animal, examined white tail deer bones, made a few skeletons and of course we read a story. We went outside and boy oh boy, did we find a surprise! We have new logs in the ground for benches but they made perfect balance beams and were a lot of fun to hop over. There were lots of things growing and crawling all of the logs and stumps for us to explore! It was a great day!

Next week, our theme is “The Jolly Pumpkin” ¬†and we will learn all about wonderful pumpkins! We will be carving a pumpkin and investigating it’s inside so please make sure you come dressed in clothes that are okay to get some pumpkin on. As always, we will also be going outside so please dress for the weather!

Have a fantastic week and we will see you Tuesday!
