Our continued thanks to the Master Gardener Association of Northwest Michigan for their hard work in maintaining the demonstration gardens at the Boardman River Nature Center! We’ll begin at 5:00pm with a tour of the native gardens at the Nature Center. From 5:30pm-7:30pm we’ll get to work to make the gardens shine (plant plants, design new areas, spread compost and mulch, etc.). Peepers Program: Great Grasshoppers *NEW*

The Peepers program is specifically developed for children ages 3-5. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of each session. These 90-minute nature programs include stories, crafts, music, and discovery activities. Each program ends with an outside portion that will vary between a short exploratory hike, a game, or engaging play (i.e. sand table/water table, digging, etc.) to bring the lesson to life.
