Join the Grand Traverse Conservation District for a celebration of 75 years of conservation, stewardship, and education! Explore the Boardman River Nature Center, view historical photos, and take a stroll on the nearby Natural Education Reserve trails.
Also, take part in family-friendly activities throughout the day featuring the theme “be a conservationist”! Join us from 11:30-12:30pm for a hike to Jack’s Creek, where we’ll collect and identify macro invertebrates.
OR, join us at 1:30pm for an interpretive hike on Michigan’s endangered species. At 2:00pm, we will watch “The Messenger” movie with refreshments. For more information on the film, visit here.
