On behalf of Lori O’Neil: Save the date –¬†August 21st, 2016 at 2:00pm!

A dedication of the ‘Richard M. O’Neil Nature Library’ will be held in honor of Rick O’Neil and to thank the community, family, Munson Medical Center co-workers, boy scouts and friends; some of which are all of the above.

Director, Marsha Barber Clark, of the Grand Traverse Conservation District, has graciously agreed to receive Rick’s cherished and vast collection of nature books. The Conservation District will not only display them, in a beautiful one of a kind bookcase made by Carpenter Pete, but will be offering them as a lending library to the community as well. I can’t think of a better way to honor Rick and his dedication to this community, in saying thanks to the wonderful people that rallied around to help us as we fought for Rick’s life.

I thank you so much and hope that you will come to appreciate Rick’s love of nature, books and people. I am very thankful to the Conservation District for allowing me this outlet to honor my husband and to give thanks to you.

Please come and enjoy this afternoon with us and celebrate the life and love of Rick O’Neil.¬†Personal invitations will not be sent, please consider this is your invitation, I hope to see you there!
