August 12th – Animals of the Great Lakes

Hello campers!

Today was a nice rainy morning! We learned all about animals that live near or use the wetlands and the Great Lakes! We did this by using puppets! After reading a good book about wetlands, we talked all about how important the wetlands are and how we need to make sure we don’t ruin them! Once the rain slowed down a little bit, we went on a hike to Jacks Creek and the wetlands! We walked on a 900 ft long boardwalk! We were all pretty excited about it!

Tomorrow, we are going to be learning more about the wetlands!

See you tomorrow!
