| The Grand Traverse Conservation District (GTCD) is asking you to shoot nature this year…with your camera. We are holding a digital photography contest to determine the future banners that will be displayed behind the Boardman River Nature Center’s welcome desk. The banners are switched out seasonally and we still need winter, spring and fall.
What to Submit: It is the BOARDMAN RIVER Nature Center, so the digital photos must be of the BOARDMAN RIVER. What to Win: Your digital photo blown up really big and displayed behind the welcome desk of the Boardman River Nature Center for a season (come into the nature center and see just how big). Who can Enter: Anyone who has a 6 megapixel or greater camera and likes to shoot the Boardman. How to Enter: Each digital photo must be uploaded to the Grand Traverse Conservation District’s Flickr page and tagged appropriately. How Winners are Selected: The GTCD staff and some Traverse Area Camera Club members (who are not allowed to enter) will select the top 5 photos per season. The community will then vote to decide the winners! See link below for details on how to vote. 2009 Deadlines & VOTING:
